World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October each year, and in 2024, the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) is highlighting the theme: "It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace."

My life’s purpose and intention behind OASIS is to help corporate warriors manage their stress in non-medicative ways, and along with that I present a series of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction seminars that integrate somatic experiencing, breath awareness and reflective journaling.

Local researchers said in a medical journal in April 2023 that the estimated total economic cost of productivity lost due to anxiety and depression in Singapore was $15.7 billion a year.

Besides higher healthcare costs for the individual, employees affected by mental health issues are 40 per cent less productive at work.
